Resort Uphill Access
The following resorts have banned uphill access indefinitely due to COVID-19:
Additionally, Aspen and San Juan County has banned all non-residents from visiting.

Beginning in the 2019-20 season, an annual A-Basin Uphill Access Pass is $30 for anyone without a current A-Basin-specific season pass. That $30 covers the whole season. Uphill access is free for anyone with a current A-Basin full-season, midweek, senior or military pass, but you still must have an uphill access pass and armband.
Uphill access is free all day, 7 days a week
Dogs are prohibited between our operational hours of 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM at Snowmass during the ski season. Before and after operational hours, you may bring your dog on-mountain with you

Free all day, 7 days a week below Merry-Go-Round restaurant. Uphillers must be past the Merry-Go-Round restaurant by 9am in order to continue up the mountain.

Uphill access is only permitted outside of public operating hours – from 5 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. All uphill users must be skiing down the mountain by 8:30 a.m.

Must turn around at or prior to the restrooms at the top of Collage before lifts open to the public at 9:00am on weekdays and 8:30am on weekends. Evening uphill access is available after 5pm.
Must register each individual to receive an armband for uphill access

Headlamps are required to be turned on while on the mountain before 9 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m
Pre and post season uphill access not allowed
Dogs must be on a leash and wear a collar light
Uphill access before 8:30 a.m. - all skiiers/riders must be off trail by 9 a.m.

All uphill access at Loveland Basin requires users to have a current Uphill Access Card available at no charge at the ski patrol headquarters between 8:30am - 3:30pm
Uphill access is not permitted during operating hours (8:00am – 4:30pm)
There is one designated route for uphill users ('Route A')
Dogs under voice command are allowed before and after operating hours at Loveland Basin
Must obtain a valid uphill ticket and the ticket must be worn on the outside of your ski gear and remain visible while skiing up or down the mountain
For Monarch Mountain season pass holders, this ticket is available for free at our season pass desk. For those without a season pass for the 2018-19 season, there is a one-time $20 administrative fee and you must sign a 2018-19 liability release waiver.
Use designated uphill routes during operating hours (9:00am - 4:00pm). Other routes available during off hours.
Dogs are prohibited on the mountain during operating hours and are strongly discouraged at all other times.
Uphill access is free, but skiers/riders must sign a policy document and obtain an armband at the Welcome Center during normal operating hours
During operating hours (8:30am-4:30pm) uphill access is allowed on recommended routes only
Uphill access is not permitted in night skiing areas during night operations
Dogs are prohibited during operating hours, but during non-operating hours, dogs leashed or clearly controlled by voice command are permitted. All dogs must wear reflective material.
